Flowers Delivered In Carlisle
Carlisle's name dates back to around the 6th century, when Cumbria was the kingdom of Rheged, under the rule of King Urien. Of the 28 cities of Britain in the Middle Ages, Rheged's capital was found at Cair Ligualid, which later became Caer-luel. It narrowly missed being included in the Domesday Book, published in 1086, but was invaded and incorporated into England in 1092. The modern-day flower delivery Carlisle residents receive is still delivered to English addresses, although the border with Scotland is just ten miles to the north.
This short distance between Carlisle and Scotland has led to it being known as the Great Border City, and with our couriered flower delivery Carlisle residents can receive their bouquet when they need it - typically within a one-hour delivery window. Flowers are delivered to you in a gift box, pre-arranged to make it easier to place them into a vase, and with flower food and care instructions included too, and with signed-for delivery you can always know you haven't missed us at your door.
